BBC Radio 4
The BBC were really interested in our work and Estelle was invited to contribute to the BBC Radio 4 ‘Soul Music’ programme featuring the classic Carole King song “You’ve got a friend”. The programme allowed her to showcase her role as an Interfaith Minister, the concept of a separation/letting go ceremony and the meaning of the song for her.
What she had to say can be heard here:
Throughout 2009 Lucy, Estelle and Paul were inspired by talks and workshops that they attended including those from Byron Katie, Marianne Williamson, Robert Holden and Nikki Slade, as well as the stories and experiences that their clients have shared with them.
We are looking forward to being out there and doing even more in 2010.

Thetford Forest, Norfolk
Lucy, Estelle and Paul took an active part in the 5th Nature, Activity and Music Retreat in Thetford Forest. Paul opened and closed the ceremony and Lucy and Estelle led a goddess workshop and an evening session of chanting around the fire.
It was so good to be in nature. We camped out and the weather was good to us. The retreat is the inspiration of Carol Vineyard and we are pleased to say that we have been invited back to take part again next year.

VIVA publication
United Arab Emirates English language glossy magazine VIVA included an article called “Just Divorced” which focussed on new ways of moving on. The article described letting go ceremonies as ones which are “turning heads”, and featured Estelle talking about the benefits of such ceremonies. These included helping people to:
draw a line under the bereavement of divorce
reconfigure their relationship
provide a new way to heal
see divorce as part of life rather than an end of their life
