The arrival of a new baby is a miraculous event and has a profound impact on all those around them. This precious new life can bring a sense of joy, unity and purpose.

A baby naming or blessing is an opportunity to welcome and honour the baby and express the love commitment and care of parents, family and friends.  However a traditional religious rite, for whatever reason, may not necessarily feel right for you. 

We can work with you to create a unique and truly meaningful ceremony which is personalised to reflect you, your family and personal beliefs.  Such a ceremony could include any or all of the following:
  • formal naming of your child
  • meaning of the names
  • your own personal promises
  • thoughts on being a parent
  • vision for the future
  • personal blessing of each guest
  • presentation of a special/ significant present
  • prayers/ invocation of gratitude
  • bless the uniqueness of your child
Held in a place that is special to you, wherever that may be, such a ceremony can provide the basis of a heartfelt, thoughtful gathering and a truly special “Welcome!”
